HerMoney PowerSessions are all about understanding where women are in their financial journey, and starting from there. Whether someone is just beginning, rebuilding, or ready to grow, each session meets them where they are and helps them build knowledge and confidence step by step.Smart money decisions start with understanding the basics and learning them in a space that feels real, relevant, and relatable. These interactive workshops can be delivered one-on-one, in small groups, or as customized cohort programs designed around specific community or client needs.Each session focuses on practical topics like budgeting, credit, savings, and investing, taught through real-life stories, examples, and open conversations led by women who’ve been there. PowerSessions turn financial confusion into confidence, helping participants not only understand how money works but also how to make it work for them.HerMoney Circles
Every woman deserves a safe space to talk about money, especially when culture, fear, or silence have kept those conversations hidden for too long. That’s why HerMoney Matters created HerMoney Circles. This is a peer-led, community-based gathering (online and in-person in Ottawa) where women connect over tea, food, and shared experiences to build financial confidence together.Through open discussions, practical learning, and real stories, participants break through barriers, share tips and traps, and set personal goals toward financial stability and growth.Each Circle is designed to make learning about money feel approachable, supportive, and real —because when women come together to talk about money, they don’t just change their finances, they change their future.HerMoney Myth-Buster Series
Too many women grow up hearing myths about money, and that it’s complicated, risky, or “not for us.” The HerMoney Myth-Buster Series was created to challenge those old beliefs and replace them with facts, tools, and confidence.Through short, engaging nuggets of information and conversations, we break down common money myths and talk about what really holds women back. Starting from cultural messages and family expectations to fear of making mistakes, the goal is to spot financial traps, ask better questions, and make decisions that reflect their real goals and values.Each Myth-Buster session is fun, knowledge-sharing, and thought-provoking, led by women who’ve faced similar challenges and found their own paths to financial independence. Because when women start unlearning the myths, they can begin rewriting their money stories. One truth at a time.
